Wish I Could Think of a Title
Writer's block is a condition in which an author (or in this case a blogger) loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Even Charles M. Schultz, the great cartoonist, experienced writer’s block during his career.
Writersdigest.com lists seven ways to overcome writer’s block:
Step away from whatever you are writing and do anything that is creative.
Do free writing.
Move your body.
Eliminate distractions.
Write early in the morning.
Write while you sleep.
If nothing else works, I resort to my number one lethal weapon to cure writer’s block: The glass-of-water technique. Before bed, fill up a glass of water, hold it and speak an intention. Example: My intent is to tap into my creative source and write brilliantly tomorrow.
I guess tonight I will be talking to a glass of water!
