The Jungle Book Again
This weekend I am going to see the new Disney movie The Jungle Book.
The Jungle Book is a story by Rudyard Kipling. Disney made the original Jungle Book movie in 1967, 2 years after Walt Disney's death. It was the 19th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.
The 2016 version of The Jungle Book is a live action/CGI film which combines real people with computer-generated images. The new version is not exactly like the original animated feature and not exactly like the book. I wonder what the differences will be!
Disney has been revamping films for over a decade now. Examples are Alice in Wonderland, Beauty & The Beast (upcoming next year), Enchanted, Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty remake). Who knows if they'll be doing it with other great films like Frozen in the future?
Hope The Jungle Book is as good as the first one. I am looking forward to seeing this movie!
