My First Deadlift

What is a deadlift? It is quite self-explanatory. Basically you pick up the weight of your choice based on how many pounds you can lift. Then you move it up to your hips and back down. Although some people do it all the way up to their heads.

I did my first deadlift with 30 pounds. I was nervous & excited about it. It was not difficult so maybe next time I'll use more weight.

You lift the weight slowly. I probably lifted the weight 5 times. The trainer said "Don't throw out your back". I guess I had good form.

I'm doing weight lifting because it's good for my body.

I work for 45 minutes with a trainer.
