Besties on the Big Screen!!!

I recently attended the premiere of a short 5 - 8 minute film called Kids in Toyland. The film included documentary footage. Screenplay by Billy Surges based on the book aka story by Erin Feeney. Directed by Billy Surges at SurgingFilms.com.

The evening began with my arrival at Hollywood Palms.

There were photo ops with professional photographers. Lots of other cameras were snapping pics.

The lovely and talented Caitlin Vodnik starred as Erin, the main protagonist. Her hair and dress were beautiful. I looked mighty fine in my tux!!!

There was a photo shoot of the male cast members and a shoot of the female cast members. Each family walked the red carpet, pausing for a group shot.

The film was shown in an Oscar-themed theatre. The evening included presentations, introduction of cast and crew, viewing of the film, Q&A with the director, gift bags for the cast including trophies!

I hope there will be a sequel!!! Maybe Kids in Toyland 2: Return to Toyland!!!

Maybe you can see the film someday as it gets included in film festivals, potentially the Naperville Independent Film Festival in September 2016.
