Brotherly Love
4 days ago my brother Jakob came from Seattle to visit! He came home Sunday night I believe, maybe it was Saturday night. We celebrated my mom's birthday the next day, Jakob was there along with my grandma, Uncle Mike and my cousin Claire. We had carrot cake and German chocolate cake. We played games like Apples to Apples. What's depressing is that he had to leave last night and he could not watch my basketball game.
He had an online interview, I don't know how that turned out.
Last night our parents brought us delicious food from Naf-Naf Grill.
We'll see Jakob again in summer of 2016 at his graduation from the University of Washington. He's getting a PhD in Applied Math. He knows quite a bit about Physics.
The first night, while I was asleep, Jakob went to see some friends nearby. He borrowed my dad's car.
We went to breakfast yesterday morning at Honey-Jam Cafe in Downers Grove. It was delicious!!! I had the waffle combo: 2 eggs any style, Belgian waffles, 2 bacon strips. I got my eggs poached because it's my favorite style. I was very full after that!
He's still in our hearts despite that his plane took off.
