I'm a SpongeBob fan, I can't remember when I first started watching it 'cause it was so long ago. I like to keep track of SpongeBob trivia and research upcoming SpongeBob productions.
About 2 months ago, the Chicago Tribune talked about The SpongeBob Musical. I had to know more!
Since I live near Chicago, I am psyched to see this musical production. I am in a theater group so I know a little bit about being on stage. The lights are so hot, I wonder how SpongeBob will do on stage since he's a sponge! He's a human in this production, the actor will do fine.
The SpongeBob Musical is co-conceived and directed by Tina Landau who says "We’re bringing the show’s fabled characters to life through actors—not prosthetics or costumes that hide them—and we’re deploying some unconventional stage craft that will prove that anything can happen in Bikini Bottom." I can't wait to see the actual characters on stage!
