Two Birthdays in One Week
Pictured, left to right, we have me, my cousin Claire, and my brother Jakob. This was one of the two birthday parties that I had. The other one was more official. The first birthday party was officially at BD's Mongolian Grill. I ate an assortment of foods. It is one of my favorite restaurants. There was no singing at the restaurant, fortunately. It was little cold in the restaurant, but I didn't freeze. We were sitting next to the window, which made it cold. We had no choice

Birthday, bowling and brrrrr!
Tomorrow is my birthday ... the "Big 2-3". I plan to go to BD's Mongolian Grill for dinner. It is one of my favorite restaurants. Bowling started back last Sunday. We celebrated with cupcakes. I got an autographed signed bowling pin, signed by some of the players and staff. I got 3rd place in the total scores. I'm looking forward to the "Shine Bright" prom. It's pretty cool, they have a limo with free Coca-Cola's in it - who wouldn't go for that! Last year Vladimir Bou

New Year's Eve at The Comedy Shrine
The Comedy Shrine in Aurora had a New Year's Eve improv show that I went to with my parents and 2 friends. There was tons of comedy memorabilia all over the place: SpongeBob on the door, bobble heads, autographed pictures, replicas of the Blues Brothers, it almost totally covered the walls. Inside the theatre there was even more memorabilia including a photo of Steve Martin with a fake arrow through his ears! On the tables there were New Year's crowns, beads, necklaces, some

2016 - Going Back in Time
With several friends and Aurora Police Officers, I collected donations for Special Olympics! 1994 - birth of a salesman, me! Since I'm a good salesman, I got people to donate! It was enjoyable! What a great night, I remember it well, collecting more donations for Special Olympics charity benefit. It was very sunny! I was in and out of the restaurant, working with the Aurora Police Officers. I saw my father go past me on his bike. There were a lot of customers in Culver's t

Ho Ho Holidays
Christkindlmarket is an outdoor market with vendors selling food and gifts. It is located at Naper Settlement. I had the opportunity to sing Christmas carols with Artful Impact, where I go for theatre class. There were about 15 singers. We sang a collection of various holiday songs such as "Let It Snow", "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Deck the Halls". It was freezing cold but no snow. People stopped by to listen. We sang to them. Occasionally people sang along wit

Basketball Blues
The Silver Stars basketball team had its first game! On the team we have: me, Caitlin, Randy, Heidi, just to name a few. Coach John is once again our coach, second year in a row. We played against the Gold Stars, more of an aggressive team. Both teams are with Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA). There were a few memorable plays that come to mind. On the team I'm known as AK. I played some really good defense, but only in the last 4 minutes of the game. Alex
